I am a middle aged American of Scandinavian background with a Japanese wife from Akita-ken. We frequently visit Japan. Although I have pix from many places in Japan, I really like northern Japan with its smaller population density, lesser development, nature, and rural areas as opposed to the densely populated cities. Hence, most of my currently posted pix are from northern Japan.
