Beautiful shot. I've stood in that very place. Did you ever hike north a little along the ridge and see a small cabin? I was looking for it on satellite pictures but couldn't find it. I was told it was a fire lookout cabin for the forest service. It was very small and rustic with a table and pot-bellied stove in it. My friend and I hiked to it from Alta and skied from that cabin in 1988. That was a hell of a hike straight up that mountain. I recall there were mine shafts leading into the mountain all over. It was pretty hazardous.
