The majority of pictures in my gallery here are pieces of Torontiana, showing typical street scenes, urban wildlife (human and other), landmarks and local institutions and their details. The other 10% or so are shots from my occasional trips outside this Canadian city.

Ah, but it's an all-way pedestrian crossing intersection - AFAIK^, Toronto has at least three of those, giving us photo nuts neat photo ops! Thank you for stopping by and the Like!

Well, a Sunday morning in February is rarely busy in downtown T.O.... (at least that's what I think it was) Thanks!

Personally, I'm usually torn between keeping it straight or leaving a bit of tapering perspective in, or, sometimes, introducing a totally whacky angle. Keeping it straight sometimes produces weird distortions - case in point here (the right-hand most building in the BG)

yeah, but everybody did that - Russia sent millions of ethnic Germans who'd lived in the country for two centuries into exile; the UK, Canada and other dominions (or whatever their status was) had internment camps of their own - and the list could be pretty long.

Muchas gracias Ismael, encantado de compartirla en tu grupo! Saludos desde Madrid.

Santa got me my first ever really nice lens this year, a fast 35mm prime, and I'm having a blast figuring out what it can do. Just amazing, as this wonderful picture shows. But I've also seen a lot of bright magenta-fringed leaves!
