Well, I guess there's not a whole lot to know about me... I am a zookeeper and wildlife educator currently working with the great apes (gorilla and orangutan) at Monkey Jungle in Miami, Florida. I am extremely passionate about animals and nature in general. I usually combine that passion with my other passion which is, of course, photography. Although my 9-5 is pretty cool, I'm always antsy to get off work so that I could head on over to the Everglades National Park which is 10-20 minutes from home (depending on what part I want to go to). Weekends are always good for exploring the other beautiful parts of Florida... I sure wouldn't mind doing a little more of that for a living! You may notice with my photography style, I am attracted to both vivid and pastel colors and I have a thing for shooting twilight (not quite sunrise and well past sunset) when it comes to landscapes. This time seems to give the images a more dreamy and painted feel. I guess it has something to do with longer exposures. I'm still (barely) in my 20's, married (sorry ladies), and my children are 3 dogs, 3 monkeys and 4 birds (different kinds).
