Be happy that you have a national heritage that dates back as far as it does and that there is still visible proof it exists (streets, canals and buildings). In the states, our heritage doesn't go back that far and when we do have a historical building that has survived a century, we tear it down and build a McDonalds.
In Houston, where I live, we have to fight constantly to keep some developer from wiping out an entire city block of beautiful old buildings, just so we can have another Starbucks or Barnes & Noble book store.
Que espectaculo. Estuve yo hace mucho y me maravillo que pudo quedar ese pedazo de cielo en una isla tan violenta (encuanto al tiempo)como Tierra del Fuego. Me encanta Ushuaia.
Este lugar lleva el nombre de Inkilltambo, aunque el topónimo original todavía no esté identificado como parte del sistema de wakas y sqes del Cusco de los Inkas.
Actualmente se vienen llevando importantes excavaciones arqueológicas en el sitio, al cual hay que observar no únicamente como la roca labrada que aparece en la fotografía, sinó como un conjunto que comprende una serie de terrazas, contextos funerarios y un sistema de explanadas vinculadas al riachuelo canalizado.

It is one of the waka or Inka temples situated near ancient Cusco. Actually Its name is Inkilltambo.
