Harry and me, let me try to translate in English...
Going to the top of Hymettus, passing the first monastery of Kessariani then Kalopoula, we arrive at the Monastery Archangel, better known as Monastery Asteriou on height 545 m. The monastery is said to be named "Asteriou" from the finest Hosios Loukas Steiriotis, founder of the homonymous monastery Boeotian, who came to Athens in 920 BC as a teen. The Monastery is circa the 11th century AD and according to sources was a dependency of the monastery Kessariani. The old monastery still standing today intact and include the fortress type enclosure, 2 sides of buildings and the general ledger. The internal surfaces of the temple have paintings of the 16th century.

Eleni K., είναι στ' αλήθεια εντυπωσιακή η μονή και να σκεφτείς πως αιωρούμενος σχεδόν πάνω στον τοίχο πήρα αυτή τη φωτό, μιας και ο περίβολος είναι αρκετά ψηλός, η δε εξωτερική πόρτα κλειδωμένη...σε ευχαριστώ πολύ!
