s a lot, Fiala. It's an amazing place indeed but don't underestimate the climb towards it. It's about a 2000 meter nearly vertical climb with ladders and ropes. The view is worth it though.

Greetings from Belgium, Christophe

在地图上一般都看不到有路去那里.但实际上,有防火通道到达黑龙江边的山脚下.但上山是没有路的,要看前人的脚印走.

This is a green mountain, located at the end of the horizon from my hometown, Interval of a Yangtze River. When I was a kid, I always have a dream of climbing. Now the dream finally came true.

In 2007 China Exploration and Research Society (CERS, Wong How Man) measured the two source tributaries and decided Mt. Jifu was 1.58 km longer (see http://www.shangri-la-river-expeditions.com/1stdes/mekong/mekongsource/CERS2007.jpg, sorry about the scan quality, let me know if you want a better scan and I'll post it). In 1999, two teams measured the streams and the spring from Mt.Guosangmucha was 0.97 km further (see http://www.shangri-la-river-expeditions.com/1stdes/mekong/mekongsource/IGSNRR2001.html). It appears the glaciers on Mt Jifu have melted at a faster rate over the eight year period (or that measurement accuracies have improved).
