It would not be feasible for anyone to go into the sea to swim or surf as the current is way too strong. It is quite windy at that part of the island. The beach is attached to private property land which allows the public to go to the beach only. The leather back turtles are seen at Grande Anse Beach. They do not come to Petite Anse.
