In the city center of Sumy, Ukraine in front of Holy Resurrection Cathedral erected the monument to the bag with coined gold, which, by the ancient legend, gave name to city (word "Sumy" means literally "ancient money sack"). The author of sculpture - A. Shevchenko is convinced: “350 years ago precisely the same bag was found by Cossack migrants, who established the city”. Composition is the rock well with the arch, of which as if they recently took out with Cossack “cat” ancient leather travel bag with coined gold and from it still flows the water. The map of region from the dark stone is lined around the well, and well stays in city’s place. Now it is the place of dates assigning, meetings, hot point for photographing of newlyweds, well-known compatriots gathering, artistic presentations and celebrations.
