I credit Jock Lauterer for introducing me to the joy of photography. I remember his first assignment at Penn State University in which I turned in a b&w of two boys gripping a sled about to slide (intentionally) into a large hole. It's hard to believe that was 20 years ago. The photojournalism skills came in handy during my 10 years as a newspaper reporter. Today I am a homeschool mom in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 2010 I acquired my first digital camera, a Canon EOS Rebel T2i. Jock, please forgive me.

I mistakenly identified this as a water tower because the homeowner just north of it said that is what it was, but I checked with the Salem Township admin office that it is a former radar tower 'for the airport.' I assume that would be Detroit Metro Airport.
