Hey Diana, nice to hear from you! The photo is taken with an infrared filter which is almost opaque and needs to be used on hot, sunny days as the image is only exposed from invisible infrared light (if you didn't already know). This usually results is really long exposures, but produces a unique look to the image. A clear sky usually ends up black as very little IR light get reflected, and plants & trees reflect IR light really well which turns them white. I am pretty new to this technique - there are some incredible IR shots out there (have a look on Flickr) which I am aspiring to. Thanks for your interest & I'm glad you like my picture!
