Omar Ingerslev

I consider myself an explorer in our cosmopolitan world both in a physical as well as a mental sense.\ I´m photographing, drawing, playing music, writing and working with science and philosophy. I´m also a world traveller.\ The creating force is released in the synergy between these areas of work: ”Contraria complementaria sunt” \ ( Niels Bohr: opposites complement each other )\ The universal driving force is to create anew: New art, New knowledge, New science, New life … and New worlds. This happens through transformation of the old and wellknown. That´s why I work in a broad spectrum of matters and styles – right from the "classical" to the "avantgarde".\ All this is a reflection of my family-background as well as my historical and cultural background.\ My Scandinavian roots counts: Farmers, Seafarers, Musicians, Artists, Theologians, Scientists, Philosophers….and Explorers.\ There are still many undiscovered areas on todays Global Mindmap for the Explorer. That is where I am exploring.\ In my work I have been working with all kinds of people, right from ”the man on the street” to the leading and highly respected Capacities in Art and Science.
