No longer in this location, it will eventually appear on the roundabout lower down on the Tunstall by pass.
New structure there now called "Golden" which really is rusty as it is metal with 1.500 lights on it that illuminate at night time to be seen from miles around.
Possibly one of my all time favourite photos that I have taken. Shot with my Canon EOS 400D, without a tripod, using self-timer by just resting the camera lens on a pebble pertruding 5cm out of the pool. Even more amazing is that my 3 year old was asleep across my left shoulder at the time so camera was being held steady with one hand! Quite how this shot came out as well as it did is a mystery to me? Planning to re-visit with tripod & without tired 3 year old, but you just know those shots won't be as good!
I've recently realized that the inner-space between each leg is actually the shape of the historic bottle kilns that can be found all over 'The Potteries'. Seems obvious now, and can be clearly seen in this photo!
