This house was once owned by Thomas Warren. He, his wife, 12 children, sister-in-law and niece lived here in the mid-1800's. He was the founder of the New Orleans railroads, a river boat pilot, was head of the custom house appointed by Pres. Pierce.
Before submitting these pics I noticed that there are many pics taken from vehicles on google earth. I figured if these other people somehow managed to slip under the radar then I would try also. I was surprised when the pics showed up. I guess the lesson is: if you want to and someone says you can't, try anyway. You just may succeed.
