Beautiful photo taken from our cellar door at Bethany Wines.
"Pilti" original first white pioneer settlers home and station out buildings.
Mt Bryan East school.
I can just imagine the occasional rumble of kettle drums as I look at this shot, Adele...
Reminds me of when I lived in the Upper North of South Australia :-)
Cheers from ChCh, NZ!
Thank you Jenna & Ray! Just one of those lucky moments when you are in the right place at the right time.
Good shot, clouds, look lovely, also give light diffusion. Not worth photografing, on a sunny day, due to extreme contrast, in light.
Muchas gracias, Gonzalo
estan preciosas todas las imagenes, no hay una que no me haya encantado, gracias por hacer esto, ademas asi conocemos el mundo, ya que no podemos ir personalmente, divinas!! divinas!!
This 92 Km drive starts at Hallett, and finishes at Terowie in the mid-north of South Australia. It's worth calling in at the Hallett Hotel to pick up a key that allows you to view the boyhood home of Sir Hubert Wilkins, the explorer.
Hi Ian, I've uploaded another group of photos taken on the same weekend as the one of your property. We started the Dares Hill Drive at Hallett where we picked up the key from the hotel. This allowed us to view the boyhood homestead of Sir Hubert Wilkins the explorer. The Mount Bryan Primary School is now on the Heysen Trail and is used by walkers as an overnight stop.
