After Auckland (NZ), Sydney (AUS), Malmö (S), Bangkok (THA), Freiburg (D) and Bali (IND) Singapore is the 7th country I have immigrated into since 1988.
Each place has been interesting in its own way. Singapore has a lot of shiny, big buildings but what fascinates me more is the scale and quality of Singapore's public housing managed through the Housing Development Board.
When I am not roaming the neighbourhoods, looking for peace and quiet on the void decks, concrete seating with innovative mosaic patterns or the Block with the most washing out, then I am producing architectural prototypes.
