Hello Artur a colorful sunset on water

Kind regards Günter

Many consider the Lakes the MOST beautiful part of Britain. Certainly, when I arrive there it is always more beautiful than I remember it. Small, but perfectly formed, I suppose it's easy to miss on Aberdeen to London. These are both on the Eastern side whereas the Lakes are on the western side. Go there Greg, you won't be disappointed. (Unless you don't like rain and it rains?) Cheers. Tom

Очень красивое фото, Иван! Нравится ! С наилучшими пожеланиями, Юрий.

Glad you like it Proxima, Thanks for your visits.

Tom Heyes said: Today, 8th August, 2014 is the centenary of the declaration of the first world war by the British prime minister. All combatants are no more. 'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.' I remember my grandfather. He was from Liverpool. He was in charge of the horses on the front and also suffered subsequently from mustard gas poisoning. He survived, yes. But my dad recalls a long period back home when they tried to get some sort of pension but with little help from the local Tory MP and little success. A local socialist was a lot more helpful- so my Dad became a socialist too. I remember too, as a teacher my trip to the Battlefields and the profound effect it had on me and all the students. From our first trip to Poperinge, where TocH was formed to the final trip at the Accrington Pals cemeterary in Serre we all experienced very deep emotions throughout. We will remember them.
