This is Cabo Pulmo marine park in Baja California Sur. This is the northern most tropical coral reef on the Pacific coast of North America. This is an amazing dive location. The little town of Cabo Pulmo sits at the base of the high mountain seen in the distance.
This is Lover's beach at Cabo San Lucas with nearly a wave or tourist in sight. To get such a picture, the best way is to reach the beach on foot in the late afternoon. The pointy rock is Neptune's finger, a popular snorkel and dive site.
Some people think that the Baja Peninsula is only a desert with a sea front. They couldn't be more wrong. The southern tip isn't actually a desert and receives about 30cm of rain anually, though most of it drains quickly into the ocean, there are some reservoirs. This one is located about 10 miles west of the airport of Los Cabos in the middle of the mountains. The area is a nesting ground for numerous birds and the small lake is teeming with fish (probably introduced species).
In the distance is the island of Magdalena in the bay of the same name on the pacific coast of the Baja Peninsula. The white stretch of sand is part of very fine grained sand dunes that stretch for more than 100km along the coast. This bay is famous as a calving ground for the Pacific grey whale, a spectacle seen every winter from January till April.
This view is to the north-west of the Picacho peak in the La Laguna mountain range, with the Pacific ocean in the distance. The plant that can be seen in the foreground is an agave, that is blossoming at the moment. These plants only blossom once in their lives, after which they die.
This marker appears a few kilometres before reaching La Laguna. The trail is to the right and straight ahead is the trail that leads to the peak of Picacho. This peak, while not the highest of this mountain range, has some impressive views to the Pacific ocean and Gulf of California.

This rock can be seen on the way to the San Lazaro dam near San Jose.
These mountains are to the west of the international airport of Los Cabos. The road leads to the dam of San Lazaro from the side of the riverbed.
