Fantastic swimming hole for the not-faint-of-heart. Hot steam at the shallow side makes the hole hot-tub hot at low tide. When the tide is higher, the cool (and powerful) ocean current provides a hot/cool swirl in the swimming hole unlike any experience I have ever had. Between 1 and 4 Meters deep, with large jagged rocks at bottom and side, with literally no obvious way in or out! In America, there would be lifeguards and ladders and corn-dog and cotton-candy vendors- oh, and about 30x the number of people!

Nicht bei Feteiras: Ponta da Ferraria, perto das Ginetes, vista do Miradouro do Escalvado.

In der Nähe von Várzea und am markierten Ort liegt der Aussichtspunkt Ponta do Escalvado. Dies ist die Ferraria bei Ginetes. Es wäre schön, wenn dort wirklich Thlassotherapie angeboten würde. Dort das alte Kurhaus ist noch zugemauert.

Way south! The right place is near Ginetes! I sure know. I live here. The right place to try the effects of hot springs in the sea. Great!

Im stillgelegten Badehaus der Ferraria unterhalb von Ginetes (nicht Mosteiros)soll demnächst ein Restaurant eingerichtet werden.
