I am a retired person, from work that is. I have been sea kayaking for about 30 years and used this activity to get to some beautiful, remote, inaccessible places to take photos. I have been very appreciative of the arrival of the digital age as this has allowed me to take panoramic images with very little cost. I stitch images together to recreate what I can see on my sea kayaking expeditions. Enjoy the trips.

PS: My diary puts my day visit at 28th April 2009, flying from and to Cambridge near Hobart. From your upload date 10 January 209 it seems the relocation you mention would have already taken place.

Swan Island Light; a white round tower in R/T communication with Wilson's Promontory Light across the Bass Strait.

Diomedea cauta cauta.

Wombat (Vombatus ursinus).

The lighthouse shown on Googe Earth satellite map measures 1.07km SW from this position. Might the kayak have been heading north a little closer to shore whilst a bit south of the lighthouse perhaps?

Smashing view of a Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo (Calyptorhynchus funereus).
