The lake in the foreground ends the Western Malyi Ala-Archinskiy glacier tongue. The col right in the center is Imeninnikov pass. The col to the left of it, with a distinct line of snow over some scree, is Ala-Archa pass, 3916m. The rightmost mountain is Molodaya Gvardiya peak, and the wide col half seen in the right is supposed to be _Asanalieva pass.
The photo was take on July 22nd, 2006, during the trekking tour of Poga team.
The photo was taken from 4400m (the altitude of Baichechekey pass). The huge mountain on the left is Semionov-Tien-Shansky peak, 4885m, the higest point of the entire Kyrgyz Ala Too range. Then, left to right, the summits of Corona, Svobodnaya Corea and Ak-Too are seen the background. The rightmost dark rocky peak is Baichechekey, 4516m.
The photo was taken on July 28th, 2006, during the hike of Poga team.
The col of Baichechekey ("showdrop" from Kyrgyz) pass, 4400m, is straight above the group of people. The 3-pitch abseiling from the col via the 50-degree porous ice slope and over the bergschrund was a challenging experience. :)
The massive rocky summit in the right part of te view is Baichechekey peak, 4516m.

This is the view from the ridge between Chunkurchak and Kurchaktor valleys to the north. The haze in the background hides the southern outskirts of Bishkek, that is 30km as the crow flies.
The photo was taken on July 31st, 2006, during the hike of Poga team.
This is a view on main Kyrgyz Ala Too range from South. Kyrgyz name Ala Too means many-coloured mountains. And Tuyuk-Tor means "blind alpine pasture". Many valleys in Tien-Shan are named "Tuyuk" (blind), because the local people saw no way across the mountain ranges at the end of them.
A view up the Chong-Tura-Suu glaсier. The mountain right in the centre is "Alpinist" peak, 5462m.
"Tura" is the Kyrgyz name for the horny frog in a hoof of a horse. So the "Chong-Tura-Suu" means "big river of the horny frog". There are lots of place-names in Tien-Shan originating from nomadic life of Kyrygyz people.
The photo was taken on August 16, 2006 during the expedition of Poga team to Borkoldoy and Kok Shaal Too ranges.

The large snowfield below is Western Malyi Ala-Archinskyi glacier. Far in the right part of the view glaciers Manas and Toktogul are also seen.
