Silica was the name given to this light tower in an area known as big lamp corner. Not quite sure if its art or not but when first built there was a red band with flashing lights constantly going round but that was removed when it failed. The lights that we were told would be seen from Wales are rather dim due to the incompatible console used to create light. My teacher would have said "coul;d do better"

Hi I live near ely and this perspective is very interesting something I have not noticed before perhaps a slight crop of the stall and the building on the left but thats only my view !
