Thanks Petr.

Best wishes, Herb

Yes, Sir, f/22 is my go-to aperture for that effect. I used f/22 the very first time I went for a star burst, it worked well, and I've never (intentionally) tried any other f-stop. Fortunately for me this lens is still really sharp at that small aperture!

Good shot, Dave! A very happy Christmas to you and yours!!!

Howdy 'F.D'...an excellent recent upload... and a lovely region to visit....Cheers from.. Dj. .UK.

Thank you for taking a look-see.. Herb'..... and your kind words.... yes these reservoirs are well worth a visit...would have been better with a little sunshine !... and plenty of meandering footpaths threading their way through the foliage too......'Seasonal Greetings' to you too.... keep well... Cheers from Dave.

Thank you again .. Herb'.... The hotel runs a.. ''Golf buggy'' ..type taxi to the town and back...we normally used the steps for the exercise.. but the buggy was always a riot of a social event providing laughs and chats to others as we hurtled along...... Thanks for your YSL ... Cheers from Dave.

Many thanks... Herb'... yes we too enjoyed many a stay at the C.C. site... and usually had to book a pitch months in advance due to its popularity... A lovely location.. takes some beating..... Cheers from Dave.

After I saw this picture in the largest format on my screen, I was speechless Herb.

Ken Fowkes, Yep, and its a very laborious process. I use Tony Kuyper's action panel (version 3) for luminosity masking. That tool has a feature for generating 10 zone masks. I use those masks for isolating the tones I want to pull through or mask out.

✯Like✯ Very nice artwork♥ 😊
