we fish for trout but now and again someone will try for pike.i have put a photo on my page of a pike one of my friends caught this year.it was caught just in front of where you took your photo. photo taken from video.

Thank you for your comments Clutii, Yes the sky was as blue as I've ever seen it. It was an incredible morning, the kind that you only see once every few years. Unfortunatly, after about an hour, the sun started to melt the frost. Regards, Chuckels.

it is a rainbow trout fish farm with 39 fish cages that has been there a few years now.there are also fish cages at passabranda(at the start of the loch)but i think they for salmon.

Thanks for the comments Clutii, We were on holiday from Canada & stayed in the cottage next to Killin Cemetery for a week, I got up at dawn to take photos down by the loch in the pouring rain, under an umbrella of course. I have quite a few pictures of Scotland & the Lake district, most in better weather. Chuckels.

hello everest nice photo. been fishing here loch awe(eredine)for the last thirty odd years.seen some good sights,ospreys catching fish from the loch,the nothern lights,and some nice sunsets that i hope to get on a photo this year.
