mhmt1500, you're bad informed. First of all, before 1915 there were at least 3.000.000. of Armenians in the so-called Eastern Anatolia (Armenia), 1.500.000. of which were killed just because they were Armenians, because the World War I was going on and the Western countries had an idea of re-establishing the Armenian State on it's original lands - and it's original population was dreaming about this since the XV century, when the last Armenian state (the Cilician Armenian Kingdom with the Rubinian royal dynasty has ended it's ruling because of the Ottoman occupation. I'd wish to remind you also, that by the year of 1908 Turkey was not an empire anymore, but a democratic state with Mustafa Kemal Ataturk as the leader of the newborn "Unity and the Progress" movement. By the way, Ataturk personally has taken an active part in the 1915-1920 massacres of the Armenians, as he was one of the military commanders of the Turkish regular army forces in East Anatolia (Western Armenia), which resisted the growth of the Russian Army's advance into the depth of the Eastern Turkey (Armenia). Unfortunately, this growth was stopped because of the Bol'shevik revolution in Russia (1917), which stopped Russia's particpation in the World War I. Meanwhile, I'd wish you to be informed, that you Turks have never had the Armenian territories as your original, because Armenians are the original population of this Holy lands (from Cilicia - Meditteranean Sea, opposite to Cyprus, with Sis and Adana as the capital cities - to Batumi on the Black Sea's coast and to lake Urmia (now Iran) since the 4000's B.C. It's a proven fact, that you Turks have originated from the places, which are called now Mongolia and Altay. How did it happen that you came to the places, known today as Turkey? OK, Mehmet, your ancestors were then nomads, which have had collected the biggest of the armies for the time, and , killing-burning-hanging-raping-cutting all that was human around, came to the places known as the Byzance, the Roman Empire, Armenia, Northern Iran, and many others. All those countries were very rich at the period, and the hundreds of thousands of your ancestors have simply destroyed all this territories with the richiest civilizations ever known. As for the archives, as if not opened for the Turkish scientists - it's a lie, spreaded over by the Turkish propaganda: actually the Armenians don't want to agree for the so-called "historical commission", because, by the way, the 1915-1923 events are already accepted as the Genocide by many countries in the world - if Armenians agree for the commission, it means they're not sure if this was the Genocide themselves. Remember also, that Adolf Hitler, before starting the World War II, when being warned about biggest human losses in the case of war, said his well-known phrase: "Turks have massacred so many Armenians, so who remembers this today??" When you say about the contemporary Turkey, that Turks are being urged to show friendly attitude towards the Armenians, you must understand yourself, that there're 2 very serious reasons for it: 1.Turkey's attempts to enter the European Union, and 2. Turkey's attempts to prevent the Armenian Genocide recognition process, especially by the United States, which will bring later to a restitution. Now, Mr. Mehmet, who is a fascist??
