In 1992 this was my starting point for a visit to the little village of CHOCHIS, where on the 15. of August in that same year a new Marian Sanctuary was inaugurated. We were well protected by lots of soldiers armed with automatic weapons.

MESSAGE TO ZIGOMAR: I Made a trip from PUERTO SUARES to CHOCHIS IN 1992. Ever since the possibilities may have changed. In the Internet I discovered that there is a connection by rail: PUERTO SUARES - EL CARMEN - ROBORE - CHOCHIS - SANTA CRUZ - COCHABAMBA - LA PAZ Most probably with very low speed! In Chochis a Sanctuary was inaugurated on 15. August 1992 Pictures thereof can be found in the internet. Just type the word CHOCHIS in google, and a big series of sites will appear. I also discoverd in the internet that there is a motor-road Puerto Suares - Robore. I haven't the slightest idea about further possibilities. BCK
