Ciao Tânia

Você escolheu um ângulo muito agradável o caminho do céu de lindas nuvens de algodão, para o cuidado e profundidade perfectivo. Agradável de cor, e bom para se olhar. Nice composition, boa profundidade e perspectiva. Parabens,

Sergio

Have fun in the Philippines, I hope you get some great photos! I think someone tried to stir something up in that thread of mine, but I really don't know what he was getting at and I'm really not interested. Yeah, you have a great holiday, tony! Ive got to get a new computer before I can upload anything else! I don't really want to spend the money, but it will be great to have a decent computer!

Thanks, tony! Yeah, I am sort of semi-pleased with this one. I took quite a few photos of it, but never nailed it. :-)

Hi tony, yes you certainly do have an imagination! :-) This photo is a bit of a long story, but I will try and keep it brief. This is actually a photo of a rose on a cloudy pond! I was stupid enough to drive to a lovely pond on top of a little mountain in very bad weather. It was very foggy and very cloudy, visibility was about 15 meters, I really shouldn't have driven up there! When I reached the pond, I found that someone had thrown away some newly bought roses. I found this made me sad, but I threw a few roses into the pond and took some photos. The pond has a lovely red colour to it, which added to the sombre feeling. The rose isn't perfectly focused as I wanted it to blend in with the pond. When I got home and had a look at the photo, it kept reminding me of the Carpenters song, 'Goodbye To Love'. The lyrics fit perfectly with how this photo makes me feel. Sorry, that was a bit long!

Thanks, tony! I'm glad someone around here has an imagination! :-) I'm not sure what these clouds look like to me, but I love your description! Hope you had a good Christmas and hope you have a great New Year!

Hi! This kind of scene along with the others really got my interest. They're relics of time that had gone by and you did a great job in projecting it.

Desmond, Trafalgar Square sure looks different in the evening. I was there last year and took photos of the same place but it was at noon time. The lights and the shadows gives the place a different ambient...a more dramatic look. Fantastic scene and a great shot.

By the way thanks for your comment on my photo on the Critique Forum...appreciate that. I hope I didn't dragged you into a sticky situation with those guys. The high road meaning no response I think is the best way to handle them. Regards and a Happy New Year to You.
