Salamat bai! That's true I am one of those who do walking there with my dog.
There was a park in between the hotel and the Ayala Center, a pleasure to walk, especially in the evening: the Christmas lights were still on, nice atmosphere.
One night we enjoyed our dinner at the "Golden Cowrie native restaurant" on Salinas Drive. Very good cuisine, highly recommended!
Thanks Thomas I was in the boat partly seen here in the foreground bottom left corner. The passengers were from our boat docked in the port... they were taken further to a destination for snorkel activities.
Used to fish here early in the morning for "dangits"...lot's of fun.
Looks great in the picture but then again 'twas long ago when I used to roam the place....how time flies.
Is this the cemetery in Careta? A little to the left is probably the family plot.
This pic. doesn't look like ayala shopping center...notice the coconut trees and what look like water at the back. This pic might be right in Mandawe but misslabeled....don't you think so?
They held the Purico amateur hour here every sunday. My aunt was a champion for 3 weeks...had fun watching the show while eating hamburger wash down the hatch with a royal true orange...those were the days my friend..thought will never end.
Used to bike through here from school usc-bhsd going home in P. del Rosario ext. That was long time ago when I was young...that's one beautiful church. Every wednesday I drive my mother for the novena of our lady of perpetual help....nostalgia...nostalgia...sigh.
