Questa è la nostra ricchezza, ovvero la possibilità di vivere in un luogo dove la natura è sulla porta di casa. Ma, dietro a tanta bellezza, come ho già scritto, si cela un mondo mostruoso, fatto di egoismo e razzismo. Le ultime votazioni mi hanno riportato duramente alla realtà. Speravo che i miei compatrioti fossero più saggi e generosi. Chissà, forse lo spirito del Natale avrebbe potuto far ragionare meglio questi bravi cristiani che con con le mani che si stringono in chiesa per il gesto di pace, poi le usano per colpire il loro prossimo. Alla schiena. Che senso dare alla celebrazione della nascita di Colui che è giunto tra noi per portare un messaggio di amore e pace se proprio coloro che si definiscono cristiani insultano Gesù con le loro gesta?
