Turnover bridge, where the towpath crosses from one side of the canal to the other. To cater for horse-drawn boats, the horse has to go under the bridge before passing over, else the rope would go over the bridge and get stuck.

Cheers Haggs, yes you would need a really big bottle probably the mother of all bottles for what Scotland has to offer. We have been coming there since '95 and every time it offers something different. A beautiful place and lovely people. Be well....Woody

Cheers James, yes we've been coming every year on holiday since '95, (sad isn't it I know), but the Highlands keep drawing us back. It certainly is a fantastic place to take photos whatever time of year or weather conditions. Be well mate. P.s. it was West Coast wasn't it not North Coast shame it was a good place to get gear from.
