I don`t understand what mean this colors

Twenty years ago, a young boy moved to this partment down this street with his family. There used to be spectacular view of the Bund, a viberant street market and a booming night life that rivaled any streets to the westside. Twenty years later, a young man returned to his former home. There lays a spectacular view of the Financial District, a viberant economic market and a booming city that rivaled any city to the west.

This photo is takenon the eastern side of the bay. The camera was facing west from the concrete levy of the wetland. The correction proposed was incorrect as the west side of the bay is rather populated. Please note there are rather few human settlement in this photo. The only house I found was a few farmer's shack behind the camera every a few hundred yards.

Union Station of Kansas City. This is one of the major land marks of Kansas City. Situated near the former downtown KC, this is a very beautiful place.
