A great shot of the Flying Butress which holds the who structure together, had it explained in some long play cartoon type movie about a priest building a church.

Mum had the gardens on the side of the house full of these flowers , great to give away on Mothers day.

Love these flowers , many different colours, there use to be a lot around Brisbane , but don't seem to se many these days , maybe I'm not looking. My wife is malaysian and won't have them in the yard , said they are the death flower in her country, well that settled it for me, you just have to do what you are told.

I have never been in this Catholic Church at Red Hill in Brisbane ,very imposeing structure,but the movie makers club I use to be a member of use to hold meetings in the hall to right of picture, some beautiful views from the hall of a night, I wonder what it would be like from the top of this church???

Never worked on this dredge the "Brisbane" but worked on the previous one "Sir Thomas Hiley". This is a nice shot.

Been ashore here as well, I was on another cement carrier and we anchored well off. I had my tin tub and outboard on board, it was a Christmas Day , back in the 80's i think , photos here somewhere, no digitals then, we went in the Lagoon and met a lot of yachties, and had a few beers and a swim from the tourist raft there at the time.

Well I was in the airport for the first arrival of this plane, I even got inside information from a neighbour who works there as to which place to position myself to get a shot of the takeoff,real small world.we must be on the same frequency. Got some really nice shots in the hangar as well.I didn't take them.
