明徳元年越前国賀郡気比神宮より、八幡大神の御分霊を同国笠原右源太が当地に奉還。 http://www.infohakodate.com
碧血碑は明治8年に建立。箱館戦争で死亡した、新撰組副長・土方歳三、中島三郎助父子をはじめ約800人の旧幕府軍の脱走兵の霊がまつられている。 http://www.infohakodate.com
