Thank you Nick this was a private show but i hung my nose over the fence and got a few shots of the action :))

Hi Alan your Ys-L is much appreciated .. it was certainly not the best day weather wise and not for taking shots of Airforce Grey Aircraft :))

this VC 10 has now been dismantled for spares i believe (On Monday 18th March, VC-10 K3 tail number ZA149 will depart from RAF Brize Norton for the final time. The aircraft will land at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire, where it will be dismantled for spares.)

so a piece of history here

best wishes to both ~ Steve

I am pleased you like it Nick :))

regards ~ steve

Hi Stacy and Alan, Thank you both so much for your kind words, and the awards. I'm very happy that you have both noticed my effort to include some of the context of this railway station, to give it a very bucolic feel. The railway was originally built to carry slate from the mines down to the coast, and in the same way as the Ffestiniog, all non-critical lineside stone work such as stations, walls, fences, etc are built from slate waste. As for the tree, Stacy, it's obviously not so old, but does provide an interesting object to fill in that corner of the picture, and as Alan says, I did pick my spot to get it all in. Thank you again! Best Wishes Peter

HA HA yes Nick never thought of that

thank you for your YS-L
