Tim Gerlitz
I live in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I work in the social sciences, though a lot of my college training was in fine art. I am exploring photography and would welcome any comment and critique. I had very limited photo equipment for the majority of these images consisting of a Sony cybershot 8.1 megapixel fixed lens digital camera. However, I upgraded to a Canon Rebel T1i 15.1 megapixel camera in December 2009. I have used photoshop for 10 years and have been using adobe lightroom. Most of my images are color and exposure corrected, others are pushed farther. I hope to document the beauty of the area of my childhood, (North Idaho). Thank you for visiting. Standing on the North ridge above Beehive ridge, looking North, Harrison Peak is the farthest peak along the Selkirk Crest in this picture. The meadow on the lower right edge of the image is a spring area credited as the headwaters of the Pack River. Little Harrison Lake isn't visible butis just East of this meadow, or to the right.
