The Four Masters Church in Donegal is the point indicating the 14th Cardo West of ALTIN. See "THE FOUR SURVEYORS" by Giulio Pizzati

Nice shot! Looks as if taken somewhere a lot more exotic than Portballintrae (apologies to North Antrim dwellers) - almost has a Mediterranean 'feel' about it somehow! Just goes to show what you can overlook on your own doorstep.

Hi Rusky, Thanks for the comment. As far as I remember it was likely just an increase in canvas size in Photoshop - looking at it now I think maybe I overdid it tho! If you don't have access to PS the same effect can be done in just about all image editing software including the free downloads (Gimp is as good as any and there IS a Windows version) - Have a look at http://ericbechtold.net/?p=25

Yes I remember the shunting yard , their was an old derelict carriage which we palyed in a lot and got chased a lot also by the railyway peple when they seen us. we had great times there. I liked in Mary street.
