My great grandfather, Johan "Pop: Jepperson was a Faro dealer in the Goldfield Hotel in the early days. He lived in Goldfield from 1906 or 7 until his death in 1953.

This is not in Goldfield. I don't know where this was taken.

Note there is only room for two digits on the price sign. Before gas was $1.00 a gallon!

For as far back as I can remember (early 1940's) this was painted on the side of the Mozart Club. I believe it has only recently been painted over.

If this building is just south of the Goldfield Hotel, I believe it was Downer's Assay Office.

I wonder if these walls are part of the old Goldfield Brewery. It was out this direction from town.

My great grandfather was a Faro dealer at the Goldfield in the early days. He also worked at each of the establishments that were then on the other three corners, The Northern, The Hermatige, and, I think the other was the Palace.
