You're correct there was/is a cistern in the basement. The large backyard now has a pool. Johnny Fay drummer of the Kingston band The Tragically Hip grew up in this house. His father was a surgeon at KGH.

Blue berries are red, when they are green. Think about it. I found blue berries growing as far north as the Arctic Circle on the east coast of Greenland. The bushes were 4 to 6 inches tall.
