I am retired and exploring the world on foot, by canoe and kayak. You see and experience much more this way. No luxury resorts on some tropical beach for me.

sorry I don't meet your high standards I don't have time for that as for how many pictures I put up that is up to the photographer ( in this case me ) I find the churches interesting and like to share different views of the church and its a great way for me to save my pictures in case my hard drive crashes and I lose them I was visiting the areas and enjoy taking photos not writing an essay on each

cheers 1.6 million happy shoppers and counting :)

no time to do what you are expecting I have hundreds of photos up ...maybe I'll retire some day so I have a free month to do the research you are expecting ....I took the time to map it good enough for me

★★How are you? Very impressive & nice shot! golden formation.Wonderful picture. Like!  Thank you for kind sxplation!* Best wishes from YANGHUN KOREA*♥

My only complaint about our Canadian winters is that they are just too damn short. It is a great time for stunning photography like this.

Ah, the morning light always makes for a better picture. Too many people sleep through the best part of the day.

Amazing place with wild nature

I have been tracking down ghost railways like this in Southern Ontario. There are about 120 of them built between 1854 and 1910. They are everywhere and few people know anything about them. Tracking them is a lot like geo-cashing. I then post the picture of what ever is there, and a bit about it's history. I have tracked down 45 this year.

Wonderful composition. LK-58
