I am retired and exploring the world on foot, by canoe and kayak. You see and experience much more this way. No luxury resorts on some tropical beach for me.

Better than any book about Ontario heritage! Cheers

Perfect! Always discovering new places through you! Cheers, Auggie

I strive to catch all the stories along the way, some are not evident from the highway no matter how carefully I look. The story I reported is what my research revealed. I am not free to trespass on private land either. If you have more info for me, I will be glad to check it out. I also have to respect peoples privacy when I take pictures. So... what is the story here, where is the mine, am I free to check it out? I am interested.

Glad you enjoyed the lake, it is one of my favourites, and I have seen a lot of lakes. Burning more calories than you planned is also good. My canoe club often paddles from Lyndhurst, down to Singleton Lake, across Red Horse Lake, portage half a km. over to Charleston Lake, south the length of the Charleston lake, portage to Killingbeck Lake, all in one day, about 20 km. They are mostly senior citizens too. There are about 20 of us, and we do a trip like this every weekend.

I don't know where Pleasure Park is, but there is no lake around here by that name and your icon is not near any other lake either. Gross mistake. Please fix.

Exotic, wonderful. This is what GE is for. How do you get to the front door?

Great! Beautiful composition! Very nice!
