Before I was urged to seek early retirement in 10-2013, I have taught low level physics and computer science at some no-name college of mainly business administration plus a little bit of engineering in Upper Bavaria (Germany). As a by-product of my hobbyist software development activities I have programmed a dedicated browser for the Panoramio photo data base which might be of some interest to you. This freeware utility can be downloaded from my personal web site: http://www.fh-rosenheim.de/~diegelmann/index_English.htm#PanoramioPhotoWizard

  • Nice shot & very good capture ... - LIKE

Hi Tony, this photo of yours deserves a big LIKE from me, It is easy fantasize of being in that place when I look at it at its greatness, amazing waterfall and hights! Friendly greetings from Hungary - M Y B E S T p h o t o s Tom :)

Thank you Karamel but this one was taken in our garden with a Canon PowerShot A560 which is just a small pocket camera and not a fancy model at all. In general my photos are by far not as artsy as yours. They are more of a documentary kind providing users of Google Earth and Panoramio with an impression of what the area of interest looks like. I myself often make use of that feature when planning a holiday trip. Kind regards Michael

I wish you all the best for the contest. maybe you can crown the photo :-). L and warm greetings from Saarland / Germany

Was würdest Du denn für Landschaftsaufnahmen empfehlen?
