Before I was urged to seek early retirement in 10-2013, I have taught low level physics and computer science at some no-name college of mainly business administration plus a little bit of engineering in Upper Bavaria (Germany). As a by-product of my hobbyist software development activities I have programmed a dedicated browser for the Panoramio photo data base which might be of some interest to you. This freeware utility can be downloaded from my personal web site: http://www.fh-rosenheim.de/~diegelmann/index_English.htm#PanoramioPhotoWizard

Amazing landscape!

Regards, Mircea

Dear Michael, thank you for your message. I'm sorry if I did not answer before. The utility "PanoramioPhotoWizard" should be very interesting. I'll book a time to meet. Thanks also for that! You are very kind. After answering the message visit their site. I agree with you. Visit the galleries of photos in panoramio is an enriching experience. We know many different countries and cultures. Sincerely, S.

Foto interessante; gosto muito! L. Saudações cordiais, S.

What a beautiful marine scene!
Best regards from Russia!

Good photomontage! Margherita-Italy does things like that, too. See e.g. Stork and Moon or bat and moon or photomontage. Regards Michael

Seilbahn fahren! Was ist das denn für ein grob unsportlicher Akt - zumindest für jemanden, der die Walliser Viertausender üblicherweise als Tagestour von Rhone-Tal aus besteigt und dann pünktlich zum Abendessen wieder zurück in Brig ist? ;-)
