Yes, there is. Go to Google Earth and you will find it. I've never used it. My understanding is that there are no services there, only a border guard. I'd be interested in your experience, if you use it. Write back.
To prevent destruction of the emergency access road, O has taken steps to construct cattleguards at the entrance to the Ostional reseve. This prevent cattle and horses from entering the reserve. This will be complimented with a solid gate.
With water they will come. Carved out of slightly inclined slope, this one meter deep, 40m (120 feet) diameter circular pond provides water in a tropical dry forest all year round. Wonder what creatures will be arriving soon (besides all those African bees)
The story of the mysterious multi-meter anchor buried in the beach of Ostional may soon be revealed. Every year the anchor is unearthed, only to be reburied in the beach sand.
Though legends of a ship of silver and gold crashing into the shore and the spirit of the captain watching the lute persist, local leaders within the community of Ostional have recently revealed that the ship vessel had nothing of the sort. Although the details are not finalized, it appears that the vessel either had precious wood or a large cargo of fish. It appears that the wooden ship may have crashed some distance from the shore with no evidence of remains but the heavy iron anchor covered with sea microbes looking for morsels of food.
At this point, the contractors measured and staked 36 meters from the fulcum of the circular area. Since it was measured on a slope it is expected to change as the area becomes a flat region (meseta).
Clearing this path required the removal of many trees, mostly saplings. Some of the tree species (and quantity) that had a trunk width, measured at 4 1/2 feet high, of at or greater than 19 centimeters but no greater than 35 cm (1.5 feet) include: Cachito(10), Collacles(1), Madrono(1), Chiguirin(6), Chile(1), Laurel(3), Chaperno Negro(5), Siempre Viva(3), Jobo(1), Madero Negro(1).
Many of the saplings were Cachito and Madero Negro.
