Wonderful landscape.

Greetings, Michał.

NJ gets a bad rap because all of the transportation goes through the old cities and industrial areas that couldn't protest and say, "Not in my back yard." So people only see the blighted and run down parts and not the beautiful parts. But ya know...... The old timers that built those older towns and cities had a good eye for city planning. If the economics and industry catch on and people put a little spit and polish back into these communities they will shine once again. The thing I like best about your photos is how everything is woven together, rails, canals, bridges, mills, store fronts and roads. It was a source of civic pride when they designed these places. It's all quite delightful if ya stop and think about it.

Dear Panoramio Friends: Heinz - Mustafa, thank you very much for visit, kind words and for the YSL: 79/145

Greetings, elakramine

Thank you and same here, lately I've really been focusing on the railroads getting different stations crossings bridges etc, more than my normal. The railroad bug has bitten a little harder this time around for me! LOL...

Thank you Alla Saed greetings from Franklin Township, New Jersey. This river is calm now but when the area gets rain this tame river now, overflows its banks....

This is the Gate Bridge.

yup shurelas please keep this photo posted even if not selected although hope it does. At one time this was real and your photo proves it. Photos taken today the area can change new building or taken down, so really why not old historic photos they are great and important. Take a look at this Map I created showing the old ROW from Jersey City to Newark.
