Rick, you are correct this is a NYC station. Part of the fun of history is learnig all the time. I thank you for the enlightenment. If you visit this station today it has been restored and is painted white. I am glad it is saved but I like the old worn look myself.

I'll try to find more info about this station itself. It is located on the NYSW main line the next station to the east which is similar is the Maywood NJ Station they have a museum.
