Thank you very much Gaetan yes New Jersey and New york Really got the snow this time. This storm actually affected I think around 20 states about 1/3 of the population of the US got this storm. This was just one storm caused all these records, my town had 28in just in one day. Now thanks to a bit milder temperatures about half has melted in most areas..

Thank you very much Corey and yes survived... The NYC area doesn't get the snow storm where lite snow falls, this white stuff for us is mostly moisture locked bombs that drop upon us typically. It's just that our region as some meteorologists have described that the NYC metro area is at the tip of a huge triangle of the New Jersey shore and New England right off the Atlantic Ocean. In my town we officially had 28 inches breaking most previous records. The coast line this time is some parts of the Jersey shoreline did worse than Hurricane Sandy with flood levels.
