Thank you very much Richard I am humbled by your response about my photo taking.. your photos are exceptional as well and very well recognized too..
As for New Jersey with a different history from Virginia as for the early wars are concerned.. I would feel free saying New Jersey was very important for the Revolutionary War and while your neck of the woods in Virginia was very important battles of the Civil War.. Then really united after the civil war both VA and NJ equally important as the other states for our other wars WWI to now.. War history aside VA alot farming little manufacturing while NJ's history more manufacturing little farming.. Really our two regions are different and similar at the same time, two very unique and exciting places to explore..
Thank you agardk I only went by what Google has listed in maps.. What Engine Company ladder is this?
Thank you and same here, lately I've really been focusing on the railroads getting different stations crossings bridges etc, more than my normal. The railroad bug has bitten a little harder this time around for me! LOL...

Thank you Elakramine greetings from Cranford, New Jersey
yup shurelas please keep this photo posted even if not selected although hope it does. At one time this was real and your photo proves it. Photos taken today the area can change new building or taken down, so really why not old historic photos they are great and important. Take a look at this Map I created showing the old ROW from Jersey City to Newark.
Thank you the flyingdutchman,
Thanks, New Carrollton station seems to be the best if you want to actually catch NE Corridor, MARC regional and Metro in one shot. Greenbelt would come in a close second with MARC and CSX alongside the Metrorail
Thank you nonowax I was able to get this shot thanx to my Stealth iPole XL
