A great number of people have left, Panoramio and Google altogether. If Panoramio was that good at mapping into Google Maps / Earth I wouldn't post here anymore. The Pano team and and Forum Moderators say this site works well in Mobile Platform lets face it still doesn't.. When these days more and more people are going mobile a site like this will get less traffic if it doesn't work the way it does on desktop as it should on mobile. I could of replied to you earlier but I'd rather wait until I get back to my regular full browser on Desktop. I think myself personally I will keep on posting on here Panoramio what ever issues come about I'll say whatever, but for my file locker of photos I do use G+ / picasaweb. At one time I did use Yahoo but they went ahead and totally dropped Geocities which I used a lot, and the Yahoo mail does not have as much function unless you pay for them, so I deleted all Yahoo..
no problem :-)

Absolutely note once the photo gets a few views etc due to the group(s) or even your Panoramio name it still will get exposure from other sites via APIs. Having it mapped means a lot, some of those APIs tend to crawl based on location.
