Due to overwhelming requests to take my photos down for various locations because people don't want to deal with their own Google+ / Maps business listings / profiles I will no longer be snapping my photos to a place or putting place titles.

The Jergens Building used to be at the Southwest intersection of Mill Street and Franklin Street. You can see the footprint on the Google Earth photo.

You are looking south up Highland Ave. toward Verona Ave. At one time (before mine!) the #27 Publlic Service #27 Mt. Prospect Trolley used this as a turnaround, up Lake Street, and back down Verone Ave. to Mt. Prospect, and and back toward downtown Newark. The NJ Transit #27 bus uses the same turnaround even today.

If you turn around and face the other way, at one time (like the 1960's) there was a lean-to, or something, for passengers to pick up the Montclair-Boonton line to Hoboken at the Highland Avenue Station.

Thank you very much Corey greetings from Hudson, New York.. I could still picture the streamliner steam trains highballing on through here. Those 20th Century Limited enroute North to Chicago or south to NYC.

Thank you very much Corey greetings from Clermont, New York

Thank you very much Corey greetings from Wappinger, New York
