You are right about waterfalls, Ivan. I think that the big part why waterfalls are more impressive in real life it that more senses than vison are involved: it's the sound of water hitting the rocks, it's the drizzle of mist on the skin, it's the smell of water. You'll have to see the Nigara Falls someday and when you do, go on the Niaraga River rapids - that is a lifetime experience.
