This is the lovely boardwalk at the Windjammer Resort. It's referred to as an open resort which allows non-registered visitors to enjoy the restaurants and a few amenities. In the background is their dive shop and boat house where you can rent scuba gear, kayaks, sailboats, etc. That's my wife Elvera.
This is called Pigeon Island.
It is now connected to the main island. It has the ruins of an old military installation. This is a view from the Fort looking east, back towards Saint Lucia in the distance.
This is a view from the balcony off our room. It overlooks the property of the small self-catering apartment that we stayed at called Espoir Apartments. Over the years the owner, Keith Compton, has planted many beautiful trees. He has Palms, Coconuts, Cashews, Limes, Lemons, Mangoes, Bananas and more. They are not just decorative, but do supply them with fresh delicious food. The birds just love the place.
That is the carribean sea out there, about a 200 meter walk from from the apartment. Nice and close but a bit of a steep walk.
Beautiful shot!! Pure GNP!!
I've enjoyed your pictures as well.
I just can't resist the old weathered wood that lies alnong the shore.
The Evening Primrose. It's named so, because it only opens in the evening and early morning. During the day it remains closed, the blooms resembling large buds.
There is an old quarry with some bush just north of Winnipeg and just north of my parents farm property. I still go out there to hike around and one year I built this hut so that I would have a place to warm up and get out of the weather.
what a beautiful view :)
